Leroy “Huckabuck” Wright, age 78 of Eminence, passed away at his residence on Sunday, April 28, 2024.  Son of the late Richard Brown and Mary Elizabeth (Goff) Wright, he retired from Ohio Valley Aluminum in Shelbyville & was a member of Eminence First Baptist Church. He loved to sing “Mustang Sally” and share laughter with his friends, as he never met a stranger!  Huckabuck was preceded in death by a brother, Richard B. Wright, Jr.

Sisters:             Janet Fields (Robert) of Eminence

                        Mary Thornton (Jerry) of Eminence

Brother:           Michael Wright of Eminence

Special Friend:    Cleo Lindsay of New Castle

Several Nieces & Nephews, and a Host of Cousins and Friends

Funeral Service:   1 PM on Monday, May 6, 2024 at Eminence First Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Charles Duncan.   Rev. Robert Fields & Rev. Lloyd Watkins will be assisting.

Burial: Eminence Cemetery

Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

Visitation:  11 AM until service time on Monday at Eminence First Baptist Church.
