
Helen (Hartman) Brammell, age 98 of Eminence, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital. Daughter of the late Minnie Thomas (Coombs) and Dr. John Chilton “JC” Hartman, she was a member of Campbellsburg Christian Church. Widow of the late William D. Brammell, she owned and operated the Western Auto store in Eminence for nearly 30 years alongside her husband. Known to her family as “Mama Helen” she was a devoted mother and grandmother, who adored her family and the time spent together. In addition to her family, she loved animals.

Funeral Service: 1 PM on Monday, December 26, 2022 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home with the Reverend Carl Rucker Officiating.
**Due to inclement weather and safety precautions, a Private Burial will be held in New Castle Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Kentucky Humane Society, 1000 Lyndon Lane Suite B, Louisville KY 40222
Visitation: 10 AM until the time of service on Monday, December 26, 2022 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.
