Richard L. Montgomery, age 70 of Eminence, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Son of the late Carroll and Betty Clark, he was a member of Henry Christian Church. Richard was a retired correctional lieutenant at the Kentucky State Reformatory and served his country in the United States Army.

Sons:                           Ricky Montgomery (Amy) of Eminence

                                    Larry (Jennifer) Montgomery of Eminence

Sister:                          Carlanna Dearinger (Joe) of Kingsland, Texas

Brother:                       Shannon Carroll Clark  

Grandchildren:            Katelyn, Kyle, Sarah, Ashton, and Elijah Montgomery

Great-Grandson:         Kayden Montgomery

Grand-dog:                Ramsey

Funeral Service: 1 PM on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home with his sons, Larry and Ricky Montgomery Officiating.

Pallbearers:  Tommy Hazelwood, David Hazelwood, Jody Hazelwood, Dale Hazelwood, Kyle Montgomery, Elijah Montgomery and Michael McClure

Visitation: 10 AM until the time of service on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.
