Tyleen Armstrong, age 64 of Smithfield, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023.  Daughter of the late James T. and Dottie Ann (Ward) Brown, she was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church and formerly attended Calvary Baptist Church.  Tyleen retired from Cedar Lake Lodge after thirty five years of loving service.  She loved spending time in her flower garden, watching the butterflies & hummingbirds.  Tyleen was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Armstrong.

                        Aaron Armstrong (Christian) of Smithfield

Sister:              Sherry Peter of Simpsonville

5 Grandchildren:  Savannah, Sierra, Colton, James Colt & Charlie

1 Great-Granddaughter: Everleigh

Niece:              Georgann Nichols (Tony) of Simpsonville

Nephew:          Nick Scott (Brandy) of Mt. Washington

Funeral Service:  1 PM on Friday, October 20, 2023, at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Mike Frey of Hopewell Baptist Church.

Burial:  Valley of Rest Cemetery, LaGrange

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made directly to the family for funeral expenses.

Visitation: 5-8 PM on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.

Friends may also visit from 11 AM until service time on Friday.
