Barbara A. (Ellis) Parks, age 71 of Eminence, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2023.  Daughter of the late Herbert and Louise (Palmer) Ellis, she was a caregiver for many years and a member of Franklinton Baptist Church.  She loved to dance at Six-Mile Jamboree, visit the beach, go to the boat, and spend time with her grandbabies.  Barbara was preceded in death by a sister, Earlene Ellis; brother, Donald Ellis; a step-daughter, Donna Kay Parks; a step-son, Lonnie T. Parks and brother-in-law, Howard O’Nan.

Funeral Service:   1 PM on Monday, September 25, 2023 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home, officiated by Jamie Tingle.

Visitation:  1-5 PM on Sunday, September 24, 2023 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.  Friends may also visit from 9AM until service time on Monday.
