Betty Jean (Jones) Payton Hamilton, Age 91, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Norton Brownsboro Hospital with her family by her side. Daughter of the late Paul and Blanche (Tingle) Jones she was a member of New Castle United Methodist Church. She retired from Central State Hospital in Louisville as Activity Director. She enjoyed reading, tending to her flowers, but most of all, spending time with her family. An avid auction goer, Betty loved a good deal. Always having fun with anyone who would laugh along, she loved to dance and have a good time. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her, husband Ron Hamilton and her sister, Carolyn Baker.

11 Grandchildren and Several Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great-Grandchildren

Funeral Service: 2 PM Sunday, September 1, 2024, at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home, officiated by Bro. Nathan Shaw of Crossroads Lighthouse Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kiwanis Club of Henry County, Post Office Box 553, New Castle, Kentucky 40050.      

Interment:  New Castle Cemetery

Visitation: 10 AM Sunday, September 1, 2024, at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home, officiated by Bro. Nathan Shaw of Crossroads Lighthouse Church.
