Brenda (Jeffries) Louden, age 78 of Sulphur, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024. Daughter of the late Newt W. and Ruthanna (Adams) Jeffries, Brenda received her master’s degree from Eastern KY University and was a teacher for over 36 years, mostly in Henry County Schools. Brenda had a heart for children in her community and encouraged each student to reach their full potential. She was an avid supporter of Henry County Athletic Boosters for over fifteen years. She was a member of the KY Education Association and a member of Sulphur Baptist Church. Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin C. Louden; a grandson, Mark Jacob Embs; sister, Patsy Smith; and brothers: Larry, Shelby, and Rodney Allen Jeffries.

Daughter: Aimee Mensing (Jim) of Pendleton
Sister: Willa Padgett of Nashville, TN
Brother: Kenny Jeffries of New Castle
Grandchildren: Corey, Hannah, Brian, Kaylee & Hunter

Funeral Service: 11 AM on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.
Interment: New Castle Cemetery

Trent Jeffries, Corey Webb & Jacob Downey
Visitation: 5-8 PM on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.
