Geneva M. (Blade) Jackson, age 73 of Shelbyville, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2017 at Sacred Heart Nursing Home in Louisville.  Geneva retired from Central State Hospital as a nurse’s aide after 29 years of service and was a faithful member of First Baptist Church, Eminence.  Geneva was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Blade, Jr; her mother, Evelyn Goff Blade; step-father Dennis Green; sister, Olivia Kay Blade, & two infant brothers.

                        Tracee Williams (Christopher) of Atlanta, GA


Step-son:         Barry Jackson (Tonette) of Atlanta, GA


Sister:              Margaret “Cookie” Beaumont of Eminence


Brother:           Jim Green (Eva) of Louisville


4 Grandchildren & 5 Great Grandchildren


Funeral Service:  1 PM Friday, May 12, 2017 at First Baptist Church, Eminence.  Officiated by Rev. Charles Duncan, Jr. and assisted by Rev. Robert Fields.

Interment:   Eminence Cemetery
