Leslie Jean Potts, age 44 of New Castle passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021. She was born June 28, 1976 to her loving parents, Gene & Crystal (Eden) Potts.  Leslie was a very kind and loving person who never met a stranger.  She inspired and influenced many people during her short life.  She worked at Cedar Lake for 20+ years where she was totally devoted to the many residents in her care.  On the morning of January 27, 2021, she earned her wings after her long battle with cancer.

Father:             Gene Potts (Ethel Hatfield) of Smithfield

Sister:              Mackenzie Brown of New Albany, IN

Companion of 11 years:          Dale Staples of New Castle

Countless friends and several Aunts, Uncles & Cousins

Funeral Service:   11 AM Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2021 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home, officiated by Chad Potts and Alan Dotson.

Interment:     Smithfield Cemetery

Pallbearers:  Junie Potts, Tom Mings, Will Potts, Troy Popp, Jeff Brown, Ricky Timberlake & Troy Tingle
