Lisa Ann Harper, age 59 of New Castle, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022.  Daughter of the late Gene Harper and Nancy Peak, Lisa was a kindergarten teacher for 27 years at Eastern Elementary School, where she also taught the academic team for many years.  She was a member of New Castle United Methodist Church and the Henry County Retired Teachers Association.  She made a difference in the lives of her students every day with her love & kind spirit. Throughout her years of teaching, she was adored by fellow teachers, staff, students, and many friends.

Memorial Service:   2 PM on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Janice Barton of New Castle United Methodist Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to New Castle United Methodist Church.

Visitation:  11 AM until service time on Saturday at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.
