Mark Dalton Powell, age 73 of Campbellsburg passed away Thursday, June 23, 2022.  Mark was retired from Dow Corning as an Industrial Mechanic after 30 years. He was a member of Sligo Baptist Church & attended Faith Assembly in Clarksville, IN.  Mark loved watching old Western movies and spending time with his family.  He was the son of the late Roy & Rachel (Newby) Powell and was Preceded in death by his daughter, Angela (Oakley) Peters; son, John Powell and a brother, Nicholas Powell.

Daughters:     Christina Wagner (David) of Campbellsburg

                        Michelle Sanders (Gary) of Florida

                        Judy Applegate (Dave) of Florida

Brothers:        Larry Powell (Ann) of Bedford

                        Dallas Powell (Joyce) of Osgood, IN

Grandsons:    Mark Burke, Dylan Griffin (Kelsey), Devin Griffin, Brian Peters (Morgan), Blake Peters (Allison), Garrison Sanders, Grant Sanders & Greyson Sanders

Granddaughter:  Ella Sanders

Great Grandchildren:  Kennedy, Malcolm, Hadley, Holly, Kasi & Kodi.

Funeral Service:   2 PM Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home, officiated by Bro. Brian Peters & Rev. Jerry Knox.

Interment:  Sulphur Cemetery

Pallbearers:   Mark Burke, Dylan Griffin, Devin Griffin, Brian Peters, Blake Peters & Jacob Robison

Visitation:   4 to 8 PM Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.
