Nancy (Smith) Douglas, age 69 of Eminence, passed away Monday, December 25, 2017.  Daughter of the late Curtis W. & Euna (Prewitt) Smith, Nancy was a social worker and a caregiver. She had a loving heart and was an “adoptive mother” to countless people over the years. A member of the Citizen Foster Care Review Board, she was a great asset to the CFCRB and always helped with extra activities when she was asked. She was the chair of the Henry County Board, vice chair of the Trimble County Board, volunteer for the Oldham County Board and a two-time recipient (2013 and 2017) of the Outstanding Volunteer Award.  She was a member of Eminence Baptist Church. Nancy was preceded in death by her brother, Curtis Ray Smith.

Memorial Service:     4 PM on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Prewitt Eminence Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Michael Duncan, pastor of Eminence Baptist Church.


Honorary Pallbearers:          Patrick Woods, Bill Smith, Eddie Prewitt, Ilene Coombs, Bobby Powell, Amy Smitha, Jo Brewer, Jim Smith, and Members of the Citizen Foster Care Review Board.
