Robert C. “Bob” Giltner, age 70 of Prospect, passed away Friday, September 15, 2023. He was born on July 12, 1953 in Shelbyville to the late William Fairleigh & Carolyn Roberts (Arnold) Giltner.  Bob had a BA in Economics from Centre College and received his MBA from University of Virginia.  He was a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity.  Bob spent the majority of his career in the banking industry, most recently serving as chairman of RC Giltner Services, Inc., a firm devoted to providing technology platforms to financial institutions by delivering loans digitally in minutes, improving efficiency and revenue growth.  Bob was preceded in death by a brother, William F. Giltner, Jr.

Bob was cremated according to his wishes.  A memorial graveside service will be held at a later date in Eminence Cemetery.
