Robert “JR” Heightchew, age 70 of Eminence, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024.  JR worked at Hussey Fab in Eminence for over twenty years.  He was preceded in death by his father, RW Heightchew, Sr., and a daughter, Renee Heightchew.

Wife:           Kaye (Peyton) Heightchew of Eminence

Mother:       Nan (Bennett) Jordan

Children:     Charles Robert Heightchew (Ashley), Pam Heightchew “Jay Dawson”, Hazel Sanders (Laura Herberholz), Linda Thomas (Michael), Carol Gibson, James Sanders & Brittany Gibson (Brad Walker)

Brother:  Billy Jordan

Sister:  Louise Nolley (Steve)

Several Grandchildren & Great-Grandchildren

Funeral Service: 2 PM on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at Prewitt Eminence Funeral Home, officiating by Jamie Tingle.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kentucky Hemophilia Foundation.  

Interment:  Point Pleasant Cemetery

Pallbearers:  Bobby Roberts, Ernie Dills, James Dills, Todd Gaines, Brad Walker, Ed Steinmetz & Tony Skaggs

Visitation: 5-8 PM on Saturday, August 10 at Prewitt Eminence Funeral Home.
