Rose Ann (Fields) Martin, age 81 of Eminence, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025. Daughter of the late Harold and Dorothy (Hayden) Fields, she joined First Baptist Church of Eminence at an early age and embraced life to the fullest! She enjoyed traveling, cruises, long road trips, and going for scenic drives. Some of the many things Rose enjoyed doing included fishing, gardening, baking, and socializing. There was nothing that Rose could not do. Rose could repair, build, mend, craft, sew, and paint. Rose was well known and always involved in the communities where she lived, whether it be on military bases in North Carolina, South Carolina, Washington State, or back in her hometown of Eminence Kentucky. Rose enjoyed the outdoors, she played in several women’s softball leagues, she also played family volleyball and badminton, and if there was music in the room you would always find her on the dance floor. Rose was also a member of a horseback riding club where she jumped and showed her horse Reno. Over the years Rose was a supportive military housewife, and an advocate for the personal growth and success of her husband, daughters, and sons. Rose was also well known in the Eminence community. Rose served as an Eminence city council committee member, she was also a nursing home volunteer, and an active helping hand for the sick and shut-in. Most importantly, Rose loved and enjoyed her family, friends, and neighbors. James and Rose had friends from all over the country. For Rose, no one was a stranger. Rose welcomed everyone into her life.
