Tamara Kay (Wilson) Carter, age 70 of Franklinton, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022.  Daughter of the late Chester Allen and Mary Josephine (Wood) Wilson, she was a homemaker and a member of Franklinton Baptist Church.  She loved her grandbabies and enjoyed spending time with her family.  Tammy was preceded in death by her husband, Rocky Carter; son, Matthew Scott Carter; three sisters and one brother.

Son:            Jeremy Todd Carter (Nancy Sherwood) of Louisville

Daughter-in-Law: Courtney Carter of Louisville

Brother:       Allen Wilson (Shari) of Grand Rapids, Michigan

Grandchildren:      Corey (Lauren), Cheyenne, Jake & Katelynn

Great-Grandchildren:  Hunter, Tatum & Noah

Funeral Service:  2 PM on Monday, July 25, 2022 at Franklinton Baptist Church (7681 Point Pleasant Road, Pleasureville KY 40057), officiated by Rev. Jacky Newton.

Interment:   Franklinton Cemetery

Memorial contributions may be given to the Franklinton Baptist Church Summer Camp Fund.

Visitation:    10 AM until service time on Monday at Franklinton Baptist Church.
