Vickie Sue (Stodghill) Lara, Age 61 of Pleasureville, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at her residence. The daughter of Donald Ray Stodghill and Myrtle (Downey) Sallee she was a long time familiar face at the cowboy’s in Eminence.  An animal lover, she was a member of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Stodghill and her grandparents, Emmitt and Helen Stodghill.

Daughter:        April Stodghill (Anthony Cardwell) of Waddy

Son:                 Shane Stodghill (Christy Henry) of Eminence

Brother:           Donnie Stodghill of Waddy

8 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren

Funeral Service: 11am on Monday, June 6, 2022 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home, officiated by the Reverend Lawrence Olinger and the Reverend Gerri Spencer.

Interment: New Castle Cemetery

Pallbearers: Marque Wynn, Tyaus Jones, Jaden Cardwell, Shane Stodghill, Tyler Sullivan, Donnie Stodghill

Memorial Contributions may be given to the Kentucky Humane Society

Visitation: 9am until service time on Monday, June 6, 2022 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.
