Delores Lindsay, age 86 of Eminence, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Norton Brownsboro Hospital. Daughter of the late Willie John Lindsay and Ruth (Hoskins) Smith, she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Eminence, where she was a former usher and altar guild member. She was a domestic worker and worked at the old Brunswick factory in Eminence before her career at the Whitney Young Job Corps, where she was a Residential Assistant for over 20 years. She enjoyed reading, cooking and shopping. Most of all, she cherished the time spent with her family, especially Sunday dinners around the table. Delores was preceded in death by her daughter, Ivette Lindsay, her grandson, Jejuan Goodloe, her two sisters, Anna Frances Witherspoon and Phyllis Lindsay, and her three brothers, Logan Smith, John Lindsay, and Robert Lindsay.

Funeral Service: 12 Noon on Friday, April 11,2025, at First Baptist Church Eminence, officiated by Rev. Charles Duncan, with Rev. Robert Fields and Rev. Lloyd Watkins assisting.
Burial: New Castle GUOOF Cemetery
Visitation: 10 AM until service time on Friday, April 11, 2025, at First Baptist Church Eminence.
