Ken "Kennie" Maynard Heightchew

Ken “Kennie” Maynard Heightchew , age 88 of New Castle, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025.  Son of the late Maynard & Ida (Ebersbakers) Heightchew, he was a lifelong farmer.  He was the co-owner/operator of Henry County Supply, along with his brother & sister. He loved horse pulls & rodeos, and enjoyed a meal at Our Best Restaurant every day the doors were open!  He was a United States Army Veteran and a member of Sulphur Baptist Church.  Ken was preceded in death by a brother, DC “Calhoun” Heightchew, and sister, Agnes Smither.

Daughters:                    Sherry L. Crowe of New Castle

Debbie C. Meek (Andy) of New Castle

Sons:                             Steve M. Heightchew (Rhonda) of New Castle

Terry L. Heightchew (Nina) of New Castle

6 Grandchildren           3 Great-Grandchildren

Kennie was cremated according to his wishes and there will be no services at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.
