Paul Carter Parrish

Paul Carter Parrish , age 103 of Eminence, left this life peacefully on Thursday, April 3, 2025. Paul was born to Ambrose & Queen Victoria (Carter) Parrish on April 29, 1921 in Shelby County.  He was a faithful member of Restoration Life Church in Eminence and served as a board member for many years. Paul loved God, his church, and his family.  He enjoyed playing his guitar, riding motorcycles, and working on motors. Paul was known for his vast knowledge in the field of auto mechanics, transmissions & various other motors.  He was respected by all who knew him and always spoke in a kind & gentle manner. He was full of wisdom about life and the Word of God.  Paul was preceded in death by his loving wife of 68 years, Leora (Long) Parrish; three sisters and three brothers.

Paul leaves a Godly legacy of strong family values to his seven children and their families:

Funeral Service: 12 Noon on Monday, April 7, 2025, at Restoration Life Church, officiated by Pastor Michael Luttrell.  Rev. Rod Hillhouse, Rev. Daimon Hillhouse, Megan Franklin, and Rev. Mike Bingham will be assisting.

Pallbearers: Kevin Parrish, Alan Parrish, Kent Fitzgerald, Jason Fitzgerald, Darren Hillhouse, Daimon Hillhouse, Jonathan Wilson, Jeffrey Wilson & Labanon Bingham

Burial: Shady Lawn Cemetery

Memorial contributions may be made to Restoration Life Church.

Visitation: 10 AM until service time on Monday at the Church.

Arrangements entrusted to Prewitt Eminence Funeral Home.
