Betty Jean Roberts, Age 90 of Pleasureville, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at her residence with her loving family by her side. Daughter of the late Lebus Shelby and Madeline (Kelly) Self, she was a member of Point Pleasant Christian Church. A secretary for many years, she worked for Blue Cross and Sheild Insurance in Louisville before her lengthy career at Stivers-Puckett Insurance in Pleasureville. A true southern lady, Betty, was always dressed to the nines and had a heart for children. She enjoyed traveling, camping and boating with family and friends. A devoted wife and mother, she supported her family’s farming operation, making sure they were well fed and taken care of. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Rosea Lee Willhite.

Great-Grandchildren:  Brooklyn, Reagan, John Thomas & Riley

Sister-in-law:  Dorislynn Leach of Lexington

Brother-in-law:  Randall Roberts (Annelies) of Pleasureville

Funeral Service: 11 AM on Monday, February 3, 2025, at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Carla D’ Alessio, pastor of Pt. Pleasant Christian Church.

Burial: Pleasureville Cemetery

Visitation: 2 PM until 6 PM on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.
