Chester “Buddy” Freeman, age 65 of Louisville, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025.  Son of the late Owen and Shirley (Snook) Freeman, he was a skilled automotive technician.  Buddy worked at Mercedez Benz of Louisville for 45 years.    He loved to go camping and was a beloved “PaPa Buddy” to his grandchildren.  He also spoiled his two beloved Yorkies, Snickers & Sissy.  Buddy was preceded in death by two brothers, Robbie & Billy Freeman.

Wife:               Dee Freeman of Louisville

 

Daughters:       Jill Benham (Andrew) of Brandenburg

                        Ashley Freeman of Louisville

 

Step-Son:                    Justin Tinsley (Roxanne) of California

 

3 Grandchildren:  Colby, Tyler, Wyatt,

 

Step-Grandchildren:     Kailee & Riley

 

Sister:    Patsy Orcutt (Tim) of Colorado

 

 

 

Memorial Service:  2 PM on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Shawn Smith of Souls United Church.  Deacon Andrew Benham of Brandenburg will be assisting.    

                   

Burial:  Shady Lawn Cemetery

 

Memorial contributions may be made to Baptist Health Palliative Care at 1901 Campus Place; Louisville, KY 40299.

 

Visitation:   from 12 Noon until service time on Wednesday at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.
