Wanda June (Hubbard) Hambel, age 80 of Shelbyville (formerly of New Castle) passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2024.  Daughter of the late Thomas and Lula Rowena (Simpson) Hubbard, she had a life-long love of horses and was an Equestrian Analyst in the horse racing industry.   She was a collector of antiques and loved to fish!  She was a member of Faith Assembly Church in Charlestown, IN.  Wanda was preceded in death by a niece, Angie Peters, and a brother-in-law, Mark Powell.

Funeral Service:    12 Noon on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home, officiated by Bro. Rodney Jones.

Pallbearers:         Jeffrey Armstrong, Kolton Armstrong, Chris Rice, Michael Burba,

                             Wade Preston, Daniel Burke & Devin Griffith

Interment: Sulphur Cemetery

Visitation:   4-8 PM on Friday, November 15, 2024, and after 10 AM on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at the funeral home.
